Symptoms of Hypoglycemia or…

We had another test this morning. That makes three in the past two weeks… and we’ve got another one this coming Monday. All in a day’s work, I guess.

What’s funny is that during our Pharmacology class group presentations, a handout on Hyper/Hypoglycemia was passed out. I looked at the symptoms of hypoglycemia and did a double-take because I feel ALL of those things right before taking a test!  Tell me if you don’t experience the same things:

Symptoms of hypoglycemia or am I about to take another test???

In case you’re wondering, YES, I get hungry right before taking a test.  I have no idea why, maybe it’s because of the fact that my body is burning so much energy going through all of the other symptoms, that it needs more sustenance to keep me going… who knows, but I could eat a friggin’ COW before a test.

And I’ll tell you what – I could have used that cow today to tell me the answers to the test. Then I’d BBQ the sucker. Sure, I probably could have made a killing seeing as I have a cow that can take tests, but who says it would have given me the correct answers? Or that I would have been successful at sneaking the cow into class? I think the professor would notice a cow next to me.

“Uh, Mr. Lee? What’s that cow doing there?”

“What cow?”

“THAT cow. The one right next to you.”

“Cow? What are you talking about?”

“The cow, Mr. Lee. Get rid of the cow.”

“Oh… were you talking to me? I thought you were talking to the cow! I was gonna say… why are you talking to the cow, professor?”

“Mr. Lee, are you hypoglycemic?”

Now I’m going to check online every hour on the hour for my grade. Quite the life I lead.
